Gastroenteritis


Gastroenteritis is a type of inflammation of the digestive tract, especially in the stomach and small intestine, and resulting in acute diarrhea.

Inflammation can be caused by exposure to contaminated food and water, or by infection of some kind of virus or bacteria, parasites and side effects of dietary excess and treatment.

Around the world, inadequate treatment in patients with gastroenteritis has claimed about 5 to 8 million people die every year, and became the leading cause of death in infants and children aged under 5 years.

Incubation period
When exposed to illness depends peak within a few hours to several days.

symptom
The combination of frequent loose or watery stools, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, headache. sometimes there is also always a pain in the shoulder and neck.
