HEART DISEASE SYMPTOMS

HEART DISEASE SYMPTOMS 1. Painful If the muscle is not getting enough blood (a condition called ischemia), then insufficient oxygen and the metabolism of excessive causing cramps or spasms. Angina is a feeling of tightness in the chest or squeezing chest feeling, which occurs when the heart muscle does not get enough blood. The type and severity of pain or discomfort varies in each person. Some people myang deprived of blood flow can not feel pain at all (a condition called silent ischemia). If blood flow to the muscle to another (especially the calf muscle) is too little, the patient will usually experience muscle pain during the stifling and exhausting activity (claudication). Pericarditis (inflammation or injury to the sac surrounding the heart) which causes pain gets worse when the patient is lying down and will be improved if the patient sitting and bending forward. Physical activity does not cause pain worse. If you inhale or exhale causes pain is getting better or getting worse, you might also have occurred pleurisy (inflammation of the membranes covering the lungs). If an artery torn or ruptured, the patient may feel a sharp pain that relapsing-remitting quickly and was not associated with physical activity. Sometimes the main arteries (mainly aorta) were damaged. An aneurysm (bulging aorta) can suddenly leak or layers having a small tear, allowing blood to infiltrate between the layers of the aorta (aortic dissection). It causes sudden intense pain are intermittent due to further damage (tearing of the aorta) or the transfer of blood from the gastrointestinal origin. The pain of the aorta is often felt in the back of the neck, between the shoulders, lower back or abdomen. The valve between the left atrium and left ventricle can protrude into the left atrium when the left ventricle contracts (mitralis valve prolapse). Patients sometimes feel pain like needles stabbed or punctured. Typically centralized pain under left breast and was not influenced by the position and physical activity.

 2. Blown Shortness of breath is a symptom commonly found in heart failure. Shortness is a result of the influx of fluid into the cavity of air in the lungs (pulmonary congestion or pulmonary edema). In the early stages of heart failure, the patient felt shortness of breath only during physical activity. In line with the worsening of the disease, difficulty will occur when the patient had mild activity, even when the patient is at rest (no activity). Most patients experience shortness of breath when he was lying down because the liquid flows into the lung tissue. If you sit down, gravity causes fluid to collect in the bottom of the lungs and difficulty will be reduced. Shortness of breath at night (nocturnal dyspnoea) is a tightness that occurs when the patient was lying in the evening and will be lost if the patient sitting upright. Shortness of breath is not only in heart disease; patients with lung disease, respiratory muscle disease or disease of the nervous system that play a role in the process of respiration may also experience shortness of breath. Any disease that disrupts the balance between supply and demand of oxygen can cause shortness of breath (eg malfunctioning of oxygen transport by the blood in anemia or increased metabolism in hyperthyroidism).

 3. Fatigue or tiredness If the heart is not pumping effectively, blood flow to the muscles during activity will be reduced, causing the patient to feel weak and tired. These symptoms are often mild. To overcome this, the patient usually is gradually reducing its activity or thought these symptoms as part of aging.

 4. Palpitations (heart palpitations) Usually one does not notice his heart rate. But in certain circumstances (for example, if a healthy person doing strenuous sports or experiencing the dramatic), he could feel his heart rate. His heart was beating with very strong or very fast or irregular. Doctors can amplify this phenomenon by palpating the pulse and listen to the heartbeat through a stethoscope. Palpitations that occur together with other symptoms (shortness of breath, pain, fatigue, fatigue or fainting) may result from abnormal heart rhythms or heart disease are serious.

 5. Dizziness and fainting Decreased blood flow due to pulse or abnormal heart rhythms or because of poor pumping ability, can cause dizziness and fainting. These symptoms can also be caused by diseases of the brain or spinal cord, or it could without serious cause. Strong emotions or pain (which activates the part of the nervous system), can also cause fainting.
