Cecum - The first part of the large intestine
Taeniae coli - three bands of smooth muscle
Haustra - bulge caused by the contraction coli taeniae
Epiploic complement - a small accumulation of fat in the viscera
The location along the colon are:
Ascending colon
The right colic flexure (hepatic)
Transverse colon
The mesokolon transverse
The left colic flexure (spleen)
Decreased colonic
Sigmoid colon - the v-shaped colon
